A place in Macarthur history

From an old VW panel van, to one of the most sophisticated fleets of purpose-built removal trucks and storage facilities in Australia, Adams & Rofe is steeped in history but moves with the times.

The company was originally started by Ray Rofe, way back in 1975. At the time he owned a mechanical workshop in Campbelltown. Making regular trips down to Camden, locals often asked him to deliver something, or bring something back while he was doing his run. Ray saw the need for a local removalist company.

Ray called his fledgling company Rofe Removals. At the time, much of the Macarthur region was semi-rural, with horses and cows grazing in paddocks. The roads were single lane with no kerb or guttering. This was Sydney bushland.

Over the decades, the Macarthur region has grown to become one of the most dynamic areas in NSW, but while some things change, others remain the same. Adams & Rofe is still moving Macarthur locals with the same level of dedication, professionalism and care it has shown since Ray first fired up his trusty old Volkswagen.
